Easy set up, great picture June 15, 2010

I've been looking for a new TV for a while and finally decided on this one, thinking £300 for a Sony was an good deal. It was really easy to set up, both to get it attached to the table-top stand and to get it tuned and I managed to get it going quickly by myself. The picture quality is excellent, as is the sound. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I also have a Samsung lcd (which i have always loved!) - bought the Sony for my bedroom and I love love love it!! I was originally looking for a smaller lcd, but for a few quid more i got almost double the size and its Sony Bravia! So easy to set up, picture is amazing... great features - if you own a psp it has a similar layout menu (photo, music, video,digital, external output etc)... when selecting from the preview menu you can switch from tv channels to radio channels by one touch of a button... and when you turn it on...it adjusts the light of the tv to suit the light in your room! It's easy to use .... sooo many ports and bonus of usb for divx etc. Plus no more searching for the instructions...if you need to remind yourself how to use something, the instructions are available with a touch of the button on the remote control.

Never thought i would say this... but this is superior to my existing lcd. Its energy rate is A.

When i was browsing online, the make and price grabbed me before the visual did because of the silver strip at the bottom, but i have to say it works... this lcd is quality - it looks slick! (product picture does not give it justice)

I would definately recommend this lcd, after all it's Sony - you know its going to be good!

Marks out of ten?... A big fat TEN with a big big smile :)))

I bought this tv a week ago and it is my first lcd tv. Ordered it wed lunchtime and it arrived 830 am next day delivered by a very friendly driver. It was much lighter than I expected.
It was very easy to set up despite the instructions on how to attach the tv to the stand being not very good.
Plugged it in, connected the aerial switched on and the rest followed automaticaly. It couldn't be easier.
Good points, the set looks good, the picture is excellent, the sound is great, it has lots of features and connections on the back and sides, the remote is very high quality. Photos viewed direct from the camera via sockets on the side are amazing quality and overall who could ask for more.
Bad points, it doesn't turn on automaticaly when you turn on seperate equipment e.g. dvd player (which my old set did but I am told none of the new sets have this feature) and the writing on the program guide and the in built user manual is so small I can hardly read it (maybe it's my eyes).

Very pleased with this tv bought it to replace an lcd tv that went wrong, after four years. Received an excellent service from Amazon as usual, very easy to set up,everything you need to know can be done by the remote control, Many thanks to Sony & Amazon for the good tv, & Amazon great service, a very satisfied customer, G.D.Fisher.

I have a samsung, but this Sony TV is so much better you can't compare the two. I recommend it for the price. Box was a bit battered on delivery
